Clemens Lotz
Clemens is the founder of CL Capital GmbH and fund advisor to the Intrinsic Fund (ISIN DE000A2N68Z3). Born in Frankfurt am Main, he has lived in Cologne since 2011, where he completed his Master’s degree in Finance (M.Sc.) at the University of Cologne. Clemens bought his first shares when he was in High School and gained experience as an investor early on.
During his bachelor’s degree at Goethe University in Frankfurt, he worked for Shareholder Value, where he discovered his passion for long-term, fundamental investing (“Value Investing”). At the beginning of his master’s degree in Cologne, he moved to the “Investmentaktiengesellschaft für langfristige Investoren TGV”, where he was given the freedom to further develop his own investment style. He has been advising the Intrinsic Fund he initiated since 2019.

Long-term investments in a concentrated portfolio of companies
The Intrinsic Fund invests worldwide in a concentrated portfolio of 10-15 company holdings. Intrinsically motivated entrepreneurs whose strategic vision creates sustainable competitive advantages are a key success factor. With its global focus, the fund exploits opportunities in established markets as well as in dynamic growth regions such as Latin America and Asia. The fund was launched in 2019.

Semi-annual reports on the development of the Intrinsic Fund
The investor letter for the Intrinsic fund is published twice a year. These letters provide an overview of the performance and the portfolio structure. This is followed by an in-depth analysis of an investment or a topic relevant to the Intrinsic Fund.
Long-Term Group
The Shared Platform
The Long-Term Group provides the shared foundation for four distinct fund mandates, each individually advised by CL Capital GmbH, Falkenstein Management GmbH, LMN Capital GmbH, and MSA Capital GmbH. In addition to advising these established funds, we have been collaborating since 2025 on advising the Frankfurt Long-Term Value Fund. By establishing the Long-Term Group, we have intensified our cooperation and ensure a high degree of stability for our investors. With this platform, we pursue a common goal: to provide a home for the long-term compounding of capital for long-term oriented investors and ourselves.
